The Limehouse Project launched a brand new pre-school service in the Limehouse area of Tower Hamlets. The Deputy Mayor Sirajul Islam of Tower Hamlets Council attended this special ribbon-cutting celebration to mark the opening of our brand new early years service on 23rd February 2017 along with many other guests from local partnering organisations and local families.
The “Little Limehouse Pre-School” will constitute an innovative early years service designed specifically to meet three core needs across the borough:
- the need for affordable childcare that will enable parents both in-work and out-of-work to give their children an equal and positive start in life;
- a tailored, stimulating and secure environment for all children aged 2 to 5 years placed at this new graduate-led facility;
- and an inspirational, welcoming and motivational base from which the future generation of childcare workers will be trained.
