We are delighted to announce the appointment of Poli Begum as the new Nursery Manager at Little Limehouse Preschool.
Poli’s journey with Little Limehouse Nursery has been one of dedication, passion, and continuous growth. Having been part of our nursery since 2017, she has progressed through a variety of roles, including Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader, Deputy Manager, and Acting Manager. Since 2023, Poli has successfully led the nursery during the manager’s absence, overseeing the day-to-day running of the setting, supporting staff, maintaining high standards of care and education, and building strong relationships with families and the wider community.
A qualified Early Years SENCo, Poli is passionate about ensuring every child receives the best possible start in life. Her expertise in SEND, safeguarding, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) enables her to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Poli believes that strong partnerships with parents, carers, and professionals are at the heart of children’s success. Her warm, approachable nature and commitment to excellence have earned the trust of families and colleagues alike, making her a natural leader within our nursery community.
As Nursery Manager, Poli is excited to continue developing a nurturing, safe, and inspiring environment where children can learn through play, grow in confidence, and thrive. She is equally committed to supporting and developing our dedicated staff team to ensure we continue providing the highest standards of early years education and care.
